Rick leads a variety of functions that create and deliver upon Tethr’s brand promise of operational excellence, agility and business relevance. He has primary responsibility for the company’s customer acquisition efforts and has had a direct hand in bringing on many of the company’s initial customers. Rick served as a strategic advisor to Tethr in early 2016 before joining the company mid-year.
Prior to Tethr, Rick spent 17 years with Paris-based Capgemini Group where he was a SVP and member of the executive management team in the North America region. He held a variety of key management roles driving the profitable growth of a diverse portfolio of North American clients serviced through the Group’s global delivery network. Rick’s career with Capgemini began in 1999 when he joined the Energy Practice of Ernst & Young LLP as a Senior Partner. His previous roles include Business Unit Leader of Commercial Industries and Chief Sales Officer for Capgemini’s Outsourcing Business in North America. He also served as a member of the Capgemini North American Country Board.
During his 35-year career in consulting and information technology services, Rick has managed services relationships with several Global 100 firms and has structured many successful transactions to drive business transformation. He led several landmark transactions in the industry ranging in value from $500 million to $3.5 billion. Prior to joining Capgemini, Rick spent 14 years with EDS Corporation where he was a vice president with responsibilities for EDS’ Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Mining business. Rick serves on the Boards of Sky Ranches, Inc. and Embrace Texas, a firm dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care.
Rick is a graduate of the University of Florida and resides in the Dallas area with his wife and three daughters.View All Leadership
